About our concrete contractor company in Dixon

How I came to pour concrete in Dixon

When I was young I poured flatwork, the driveways, patios and sidewalks that lie flat on the ground. Then I spent years away from the trade doing other work, and I came back to concrete because it's what I'm good at. I started this business in Dixon in 2023. Most of our calls come from homeowners here and in the cities around it, plus a fair number of small property owners. I come out to look at every job myself, and I'm on site running our crew when the work gets done.

What I care about most happens before the truck shows up, because you can't fix a pour once it sets. So we get the ground and the plan right first, and that includes asking the city about permits early, not the week of the pour. I'd also rather you know how concrete behaves before we start. Most slabs get small cracks, and curing, the wait while the slab gains strength, keeps you off it for a while. Knowing that up front means the finished job matches what you pictured. You can see the work we do on our home page, and when you're ready, tell us about your job.

What working with our crew looks like

  • A fast reply and a straight answer

We reply within one business day, and I come out to look at your job myself. I'll tell you what I see and make the call right there, so you know where you stand before I leave.

  • The choices that matter before the pour

Before anything gets poured, we go over the base, the joints and the curing with you, because those decide how your slab holds up. The base, or subgrade, is the packed ground the slab sits on. Control joints are the cuts that give a crack a straight line to follow instead of wandering across your driveway.

  • Permits handled when your job needs one

If your job needs a permit, we pull it and set up the inspections. If we're not sure, we ask the city or county before we start, so you're not stuck working out their steps on your own.

  • A clean site and clean street drains

We clean up as we go and keep washout and slurry out of the street drains. Washout and slurry are the gray, cement-heavy water from rinsing tools and cutting. You get your yard back without that runoff sitting in the gutter.
