Using this site means you accept these terms

These terms cover your use of the Premier Dixon Concrete website and any work you ask us to quote or do. By using the site, calling us or sending a request through our contact page, you agree to them.

If you don't agree, please don't use the site. You can still call us at (707) 640-8084 with questions before you decide anything.

When you sign a written estimate or contract for a specific job, that document controls the job. If it says something different from this page, the signed document wins.

What we do

Premier Dixon Concrete is a concrete contractor in Dixon, CA. We pour and finish driveways, patios, sidewalks, steps, slabs, footings and other concrete work for homes and businesses in Dixon and the cities around it.

The service descriptions on our home page and elsewhere on the site are general information, so you know what kind of work we take on. They aren't an offer to do a particular job at a particular price. A job only becomes ours once we've seen the site and you've accepted a written estimate or contract.

How estimates and pricing work

We give free, in-person estimates with no obligation, because concrete pricing depends on what's under and around the slab, and we can't judge that from a photo. The estimate lists the work, the materials and the price for the job as we see it that day.

An estimate is good for the period written on it. After that, material and labor costs can change, so we may need to update the price before we schedule you.

Some conditions only show up once the old concrete is out or the ground is dug, such as soft soil, buried debris, roots or pipes. If we find something that changes the work, we'll stop, show you and agree on the change in writing before we go further. We don't add charges you haven't approved.

Scheduling, weather and cancellation

We set a start date when you accept the estimate. That date is our plan, not a promise, because concrete depends on the weather and on the ready-mix supplier. Rain, high heat or a delayed truck can move a pour, and we'd rather reschedule than pour into conditions that weaken the slab.

Fresh concrete needs time to cure, which is the wait while it hardens enough to carry weight. We'll tell you when it's safe to walk on and when it's safe to drive on, and you agree to keep people, pets and vehicles off it until then. Damage from early use isn't something we can cover.

If you need to cancel or move your job, please call us as early as you can. Your written contract explains any charges for materials already ordered or work already done. Any cancellation rights you have under California law still apply, and nothing on this page takes them away.

Your part of the job

You agree to give our crew safe access to the work area and to tell us about anything you know is underground, such as sprinkler lines, drain pipes or septic parts. You're also responsible for confirming property lines when the work is near them.

Whether a job needs a permit depends on the city and the kind of work. Your written contract will say who is responsible for checking and getting any permit the job needs.

Payment

Your written contract sets the payment schedule, including any deposit and when the balance is due. We'll tell you which payment methods we accept before work starts.

Payment is due on the dates in the contract. If a balance goes unpaid, we may pause any remaining work and use the collection steps California law allows, including a mechanics lien on the property where the work was done.

Our guarantee and what it doesn't cover

We're licensed and insured, and we stand behind our work. If something about the job isn't right, call us and we'll come look at it and make it right where the problem is ours.

Concrete can crack, even when the base is packed and the joints are cut right. Control joints are the lines we cut so the slab cracks along them instead of across the middle, and small hairline cracks, slight color differences and surface wear are normal. They aren't defects.

Any written warranty for your job is the one in your contract. Beyond that, and as far as the law allows, we don't make other promises about the work. We aren't responsible for damage caused by tree roots, soil movement we couldn't have known about, drainage changes made after we leave, de-icing salts, heavy equipment, misuse or work done by others.

Limits on our liability

As far as California law allows, Premier Dixon Concrete's liability for any claim about a job is limited to the amount you paid us for that job. We aren't liable for indirect losses such as lost use of the property, lost income or inconvenience.

The information on this website is general and may not fit your property. We aren't responsible for decisions made from the site alone, without an on-site estimate. Nothing here limits liability that the law doesn't let a business limit.

If we disagree

Most problems get solved faster with a phone call than a letter, so please call us first and give us a fair chance to look at it. We'll come out, go over the work with you and tell you plainly what we can do.

If we can't settle it between us, we both agree to try mediation before going to court. Either of us can still use small claims court for a claim that fits its limits.

Which law applies

These terms and any work we do are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any court case about them will be heard in the courts serving Solano County, California, unless the law says otherwise.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page from time to time. The version posted here when you use the site or sign your contract is the one that applies, and changes won't alter a contract you've already signed.

If any part of these terms is found unenforceable, the rest still stands. To learn more about who we are, visit our About page. For questions about these terms or a job, reach us through our contact page or at (707) 640-8084.
